Some of you may not know this, but God has called us to the Atlanta area to be a part of Freedom Church. Problem is, I need a solid job with good benefits. I have over two years of sales experience, I type about 65-80wpm, I am experienced with all basic computer applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and FrontPage. My main passion is impacting the Acworth area with the gospel of Jesus Christ, but close behind that is a desire to provide for my wife and daughter the best I can.
God has made clear the "what" and the "where", but not the "how." Maybe someone reading this will feel God leading them to contact me. I am trusting that God will make a way. If you know of someone who may need someone like me, have them contact me. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get to where God wants me to be, so here I am, putting myself out there in the blogging community. I covet your prayers.
Abraham had incredible faith. God said, "get up and go" without even telling him where. Abraham went. I thank God that He knows I need more than a kick in the rear and a clear word.
So if you know of a way, let me know! I can't wait to be a part of what God's doing in Acworth!

Hey Josh! I love you man. Have you ever thought about doing what Abraham did?
Yes, actually. But I gotta balance that with the fact that I'm accountable to God for taking care of my family, so this is why I don't just uproot and move.
This question was a good one, and it made me chuckle as well.

I think it does more for a mans family to see him step out on faith than to wait for something that sounds better. I promise this is not criticism and I have come across a few people lately who have told me they could not do things because they have to provide for their family, like one guy who is a pastor told me that his pastor friend could not do something that needed to be done because of that very reason. Sometimes that can be an excuse. If God has told you to do something then you need to do it for the benefit of your families spiritual life. God is provider. Look at Abraham and Paul and Peter and the rest of just about everybody in Scripture. Gods good isn't always the same as our good. It can mean going hungry like Paul did,so that your daughter can eat.
Just something to think about. I love you!!!!!
hi joshie,
i fully believe that the Lord will let you know when it is time for you to go. He is your provider that much is true.
in Abram's day, they actually could live in a tent in that area of the world and it not be a problem. but i think it's hurricane season on the east coast so i don't recommend it...
when it is time, the way will be clear. not that God does not want you to step out in faith, but i am sure He does not want your family in a shelter.
follow the Lord He will lead you in the way that you should go. beware of false prophets.
love ya,
gigi
